Isometric heaven

Miniatures always give me this warm a peaceful feeling. A whole world captured in a small space. Save and welcoming. I have the same feeling when looking down on the earth when traveling in an airplane.

I made some real world miniatures in the past (made out of cork coasters, straws, plastic and wood) but creating worlds in 3D gives me a lot more room to experiment with textures and light. These renders are personal projects inspired by every day life, movies and games. Made and textured in Sketchup, then exported using a variety of render plug-ins.
